The AquaEl 75W Ultra Aquarium Heater is appropriate for aquariums from 9 to 20 gallons. They are the only heaters on the market with solid state thermostats. This means they have no moving parts that can break and cause a calamitous aquarium failure due to the heater not turning off.

The thermostat operates with an exceptional precision ( /- 0.25° C) to maintain a constant temperature in the tank. The other heaters on the market have normal temperature swings of a couple degrees.
